• BRINGING LOCALLY GROWN FIBRE AND NATURAL COLOUR

    TO AOTEAROA'S TEXTILE INDUSTRY.

  • SCALING UP FROM CRAFT TO INDUSTRY

We believe change needs to happen at a larger scale - out of the home kitchen and into warehouses and stores. New Zealand isn't equipped with the machinery to do this easily so we're taking a grass roots approach and building what we want to see in our local industry.

We're building medium scale production machinery to process our locally grown linen fibres for weaving cloth here, in Canterbury, and also paddle-dye machines to offer natural dyes to designers and communities at scale. It can be done! It just takes a bit of teamwork and engineering know-how. Can you help? Connect with us!

One of our core pillars is to be curious, so we're constantly trying new things, exploring new pathways of achieving our goals and learning by doing.
Our Patreon Supporters get to be part of the conversation when it comes to the nitty & the gritty of these research and development projects. Seonaid & Gina share details of their trials, in depth learnings and even their thoughts on published media via monthly book reviews.
